Culinary Institute + Benmarl Winery

This day is going to be fabulous! 

We depart from Colonial Nursery promptly at 8:30am (coffee will be provided). 

11:30am-1:15pm - Our day starts with a lunch at Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici at the Culinary Institute. Truly authentic regional Italian cuisine takes center stage at Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici, a sophisticated dining room overlooking a stunning herb and rose garden. 

2:00pm-3:00pm - We'll then take a tour of the institute, exploring the gardens and facilities. 

3:15pm-3:30pm - We'll drive about 25-minutes to America's oldest vineyard, Benmarl Winery, for a wine tasting (45-mins). Nestled in the lush green hills of Marlboro, NY you will find Benmarl Winery. Overlooking the historic Hudson River Valley, its 37 acre estate lays claim to the oldest vineyard in America. The winery also holds New York Farm Winery license no.1.

5:30pm - We'll head back to NJ
